Author’s Note

This book was suuuuuper emotional to write because I’d just lost my last living grandparent when I started writing it...and both the hero and the heroine are widows. 💔

My grief was really fresh, and then to put myself in the shoes of two people who’d lost not only a loved one, but their spouse?

Phew!

It was tough! 😥

But I strongly believe that God can make beauty from ashes, and that’s exactly what He does in this book!
